WAMP Wins Prestigious Award
On behalf of our hardworking WAMP
Board of Directors, and our many, MANY, hardworking volunteer committee’s I want to express the tremendous pride and appreciation we feel by becoming the recipients of the prestigious 2014 Pacesetter Award
, presented by the Seattle / King County Association of Realtors.
This Award is a tribute to our organizations dedication to outreach, education, legislative efforts, and commitment to expanding our State’s Real Estate and Mortgage markets. Our generous and philanthropic Members have fundraised and built homes in Washington State for Habitat for Humanity; purchased and served meals to the kind and courageous residents of Compass House; donated to, and wrapped gifts for, the many Washington families served by the Forgotten Children’s Fund.
This year, we designated the families of Oso, Washington, through a special Habitat for Humanity project, to be the recipients of our major fundraising endeavors. Our Members raised thousands of dollars throughout the year for this project, and we’ll be organizing WAMP Teams to help with the construction of new homes for those families in 2015.
We are very thankful for our Members who work so hard to improve the neighborhoods which we serve throughout the State of Washington, and for the Seattle / King County Association of Realtors for this gracious acknowledgment of our Members, our legislative efforts to improve the Real Estate & Mortgage industry in Washington State and nationally, and our commitment to providing Washington State consumers with the knowledge that there are educated and Licensed loan originators in Washington state….and there are those who are not. We are proud to provide a database of all Licensed and educated Loan Originators in Washington state, providing a clear choice of professionals to assist with the most significant financial transaction in our lifetime….the purchase or refinance of our homes.
For the successful expansion of a Fair & Ethical Mortgage Market for our Members, Constituents & Washington State consumers,
Frank E. Percival
Executive Director, Washington Association of Mortgage Professionals
